Purpose of This Document

Around the world there are many different management styles, techniques, and theories. This document shall take a look at one of the most common and prevalent management techniques, "Mushroom Management." This management style is one of the oldest and most established in history, most likely pre-dating written history.

We shall be take the opportunity here-in to invite international business people from around the world to describe their experiences of doing business in a foreign culture. There is a greater opportunity for self criticism and a recognition of the failings of both the management systems with which the individual is most familiar with and the obvious failures of the foreign systems that one is involved in. In the process we will look at not only Mushroom Management techniques but their alternatives.

In conclusion this document should clearly define the techniques and methods used in Mushroom Management around the world, its benefits and failings, and the alternatives available. This is a specification document and is there fore a living document that should change and grow as need requires.
